DfT TEST Programme
Introduction
This idea submission form is an online form to gather trial idea information from public bodies wishing to take part in the Department for Transport’s Transport Evaluation Support for Trials Programme (DFT TEST Programme). DfT are the Data Controller of the personal data collected in this form.
What data we are collecting and how we will use it
We are processing the following personal data:
- Your full name
- Your contact details
Personal data is required to contact you about your idea submissions, to ask any clarification questions if required, and to contact you about future opportunities to submit further idea submissions
Our lawful basis for collecting your data
Under data protection law, the lawful basis for processing your data is:
Article 6(1)(e) – public task
Processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller.
Data sharing
DfT have contracted with a consortium who are responsible for running the programme on behalf of DfT. The consortium carries out the evaluation of idea submission and selects which ideas will be taken forward in the programme alongside DfT.
The consortium consists of the following members who each act as data processors:
- Jacobs U.K Limited.
- PA Consulting
- Verian
- University of West England
How long we retain the data
Your personal data will be kept securely by Jacobs U.K. Limited on behalf of DfT and securely destroyed for the lifetime of the programme.
